These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the website zevos.ai, the zevOS charging-management platform, the driver charging web pages and apps served from it (together, the "Service"). The Service is owned and operated by White Stripe Innovations Private Limited ("we", "us", "zevOS"). By creating an account, starting a charging session, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who these Terms apply to
- Operators — businesses that register a zevOS account to manage EV chargers, set tariffs and receive settlements ("Operator", "you").
- Drivers — individuals who use a charger connected to the Service by scanning a QR code, using an RFID card, or a driver app ("Driver", "you").
- Partners — site owners or hosts who are given access to view chargers and earnings inside an Operator account.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law.
- Operators must provide accurate business details (legal name, GSTIN where applicable, bank account) and keep them current. We may suspend settlements until details are verified.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping login credentials, API keys and RFID cards secure.
- We may refuse, suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, applicable law, or payment-network rules.
3. Charging sessions and pricing for Drivers
- The price of a charging session (per kWh, per minute, flat fee, idle fee, or a combination) is set by the Operator of that charger and displayed before you start the session.
- The final amount is calculated from the energy and time actually recorded by the charger and may be higher or lower than any pre-authorised estimate. A receipt is provided for every completed session.
- You must use chargers safely, only with compatible vehicles and cables, and follow any on-site instructions. You are liable for damage caused by misuse.
- Sessions may be interrupted by the charger, the vehicle, the grid or the Operator; we do not guarantee uninterrupted charging.
4. Payments
- Payments are processed by RBI-authorised payment aggregators (for example Razorpay, PayU or Cashfree). By paying, you also agree to the aggregator’s terms. We do not store card numbers.
- Prepaid wallet balances, where offered, are stored value usable only for charging on the Service and are not transferable or redeemable for cash except as described in the Refund & Cancellation policy.
- Operators authorise us to collect Driver payments on their behalf (where applicable), deduct the platform fee and any applicable taxes, and settle the balance to the Operator’s registered bank account on the agreed cycle.
- Operators using their own payment gateway are the merchant of record for Driver payments and are solely responsible for their gateway obligations.
5. Platform fees for Operators
Platform fees are described on the Pricing page or in a signed order form. Fees are exclusive of GST. Usage-based fees are calculated from session data recorded by the Service and invoiced monthly; invoices are payable within 15 days. We may change published fees with 30 days' notice by email.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds for Driver payments and cancellation of Operator services are handled as set out in the Refund & Cancellation policy, which forms part of these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass payment, tamper with chargers, RFID cards or meter readings, or access another Operator’s data.
- Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service or its OCPP endpoints.
- Operators must comply with electrical-safety, consumer-protection and tax laws applicable to selling EV charging in their jurisdiction.
8. Data and privacy
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Operators are responsible for the lawful use of Driver data made available to them through the Service.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, designs and trademarks belong to White Stripe Innovations Private Limited or its licensors. Operators receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for their charging business while their account is active. Operators retain ownership of their own brand assets uploaded to the Service.
10. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and may be unavailable for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. Support is available through the channels on the Contact page during Monday – Saturday, 10:00 – 18:00 IST.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, White Stripe Innovations Private Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, loss of revenue, or damage to vehicles or chargers arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to an Operator in any twelve-month period is limited to the platform fees paid by that Operator in that period; our liability to a Driver is limited to the amount paid for the affected session. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
12. Termination
Operators may close their account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to support@zevos.ai. Outstanding fees remain payable and pending settlements are paid out on the next cycle. We may terminate for material breach on notice.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chandigarh, India have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer-protection rights that cannot be excluded.
14. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes are notified by email or in-app notice 30 days before they take effect. Questions about these Terms: support@zevos.ai.
